A toned-down version of these concepts seem feasible.

Love the idea, though I think there should only be one blackberry (item) status and each growth of black berries should provide more berries. Also, bramble should be able to be tamed using shears like with glow berry vines, etc

This idea seems pretty well thought out, and unique. Rather than having 4 or 5 qualities of blackberries, maybe just have 1 type, but can be eaten in clusters of 4, and still retain your idea of, the better care of the bramble bush, the more they'll produce.

The brambler mob sounds pretty neat, a bit vague, but I like the idea of him popping out when you didn't expect it. You should have to have a minimum amount of blackberries to tame him, and no guaranteed success, just like taming cats and wolves. He could be imbued with thorns I, II, or III depending on how well the bramble bush was cared for that he was converted from, and have a melee attack.

Let's delve into how you can actually care for the bramble bushes better, maybe they get too bushy and you need to use shears to prune them in order to maximize yield.

As for the actual hunger points restored, I can't say much about that because the relationship between saturation and hunger points is very confusing to me. Maybe just 2 points of hunger and a half a point of saturation per blackberry.

I also like what the poster above me said, I just read it after I posted my thoughts lol. Maybe instead of feeding the brambler to tame it, it is tamed using shears, but the shears have to be used on the bramble bush before it turns into a brambler, otherwise any bramblers spawning will be permanently hostile. Bramblers could spawn when harvesting, as a small chance, but greater chances when the bramble bush is ill cared for.
