April Fool's Idea: Emerald sword that does next to nothing!

So there has been much demand for emerald gear over the many years that Minecraft has existed, but what if in the next April Fool's snapshot, you could add Emerald Gear, which could be craftable by dying diamond armor or something like that. Although, unlike what players have been wanting for all this time, the emerald gear will be almost useless!
