Removing the Invulnerability Period
When a new combat-related update comes, this mechanic in the game will pretty much be useless
Why remove it?
Tools and Weapons have their own attack speed, throwing-projectiles has its own cooldown, and Melee mobs would still remain the same: they simply push you away.
How removing this system would prove useful...
Oftentimes in Multiplayer Survival worlds, a huge band of players (or at least two...) fight the Ender dragon at the same time, and usually shoot the Dragon all at once.
Without the Invulnerability Period, you can barrage the Dragon with lots of arrows, instead of the same situation, except only one arrow deals damage. This can apply to the Wither fight as well.
Either way, the Invulnerability Period would serve no purpose, and without it, certain aspects of the game would be so much easier... with the combat snapshots of course.
