Temporary Tags (for /tag command and [tag=] target selector)
Temporary tags need to be added! There are too many machines I make that directly interacts with players. Ex: when a machine requires a player to have a tag (that only the machine can detect) so they can be the only one who can occupy a specific room that is apart of my game, if they leave the game, I can detect i they aren’t in the room anymore and then make the room open again, however if the same player joins back, they will still have the tag, making the machine confused, since the command block couldn’t remove the tag when they were gone. Please add temporary tags that gets removed when they leave the game! (I can’t have the command predict of they are about to leave the game at any moment) You can easily make it where if the player hits the “Save & Quit” button, the internal code removes any temporary tags from the player before removing them their world, a friend’s world, or realm/side-server. If you do try to adding it, make a new option in the /tag command. Perhaps: /tag <entity: target> temporary <add:remove> <name: string> or /tag <entity: target> <add:remove> <name: string> [makeTemporary: Boolean]
