Way of the Nether Map ISSUES!!

During gameplay of "Way of the Nether" was cut short when my son's and I were playing and was unable to craft/upgrade diamond armor into Nether armor.  Up until that point, it had been a great adventure cut short! :(

  I've run into the same issue with hopes the dev or Mojang will patch it or offer reimbursement
