    When I think about it, I realize that it contradicts itself. It is highly abusable, can lead to bullying, etc. Who needs to do the actions to get banned when they can just falsely accuse him/her. I also dislike that every single message I send can be weaponized against me and the person who got banned have no say. Also, you are given no chances, which is very bad especially that you don't know why you are banned.
    To Mojang and Microsoft, please remove the chat reporting feature or be able to disable. Also, before doing anything, you have to appease the community else Minecraft will suffer a downfall.
    To the community: I suggest going on a Minecraft strike. Don't play the game until it is resolved. This will make Microsoft and Mojang think what had gone wrong. Popular YouTubers should also have their say.
    I hope 1.19.2 changes for the better

    as the registered user above said, dont add it, or if you must make it optional so private servers that are for older audiences, such as anarchy servers, are allowed to flourish and thrive without being banned immediately

    I don't think Mojang (Microsoft) cares. They're blatantly ignoring the community because they know that people won't care enough to actually quit the game.

    I totally agree, this new "reporting" feature its one of many mistakes Minecraft has made, as an exception this one could literally kill the game. As we saw in the snapshots, its pretty easy to abuse, and anyone could get banned even if they did nothing. Microsoft has to understand that us (server admins) we can manage our servers/communities ourselves. What really makes me mad is that Mojang knows very well we don't want this feature, but for some reason they pretend we don't exist. At this point, Minecraft "Feedback" its now useless knowing that we will be ignored.

    Please Mojang/Microsoft, PLEASE listen to your community for once and delete this "feature".

    I think that the chat report system is really stupid in of the fact us java edition players have had our own ways of banning and punishing player server to server and LEGIT NOBODY ASKED FOR YOUR HELP MOJANG WE GOT IT THANKS.

    I won't be playing multiplayer or on a server ever again until it's removed. Maybe it never will. But I still won't play. This feature is so easy to abuse it's scary, and I don't think anyone wants to take that risk. 

    I won't be playing on multiplayer. If you think this chat reporting is bad, I suggest that you don't either.

    I totally agree!
    In fact, this feature would also go against public servers, which already have their own report command.
    Not to mention how many fake reports will be sent and how many accounts will be unnecessarily suspended.
    Finally, I just want to specify that, due to this feature, we Premium players will have to buy back Minecraft, create a new account ........,
    while Cracked users (TLauncher, Minecraft Sponge and others) will only have to re-enter a new username, to return to play in multiplayer.

    If you think about it, another major issue with it is that commands like /whisper which sends private messages to other players doesnt work anymore, since you can use the report menu to access what the player is talking about.

    This completly destroys the privacy of the whole community and i'm not sure about it, but i'm sure its illegal in some countries and Microsoft will probably get sued.

    this system you are proposing will just cause the opposite effect, i know you want money, but minecraft if you do this will legitimately lose cash, and it WILL flounder, so please go back on this or if its too late make it togglable

    Let's be honest here if you have not been banned from this you don`t need to worry and it is a kid's game it adds moderation to Minecraft!

    I think there is no use of this Chat Report on a single player world, but it does make sense on multiplayer.
