    My idea is that this would be the dimension where all the skulk came from, which is why there's skulk in the calamity. The ground shouldn't just be skulk. There should be enough to indicate that the place is dangerous, but also allows for biomes to be varied.

    To prevent players from sneaking all the time, there will also be mobs that don't hide in the sculk. One of these are zombie-like mobs that are pretty beefy and spawn frequently. The player will have to stop sneaking to get away from them, potentially alerting a shrieker.

    To make the shrieker mechanics even scarier, there can be a rare chance the shrieker doesn't awaken the biome-specific mob and instead awakens the warden, meaning the player will have to get away instead of fighting head-on.
