The amber caves is an end cave biome with loads of amber vines covering the walls and some diagonal branching stems that grow when hit by a laser on the ceiling on amber blocks. Part of the endstone walls are replaced by amber blocks as well.
Amber vines, blocks and cores have special properties. If it is destroyed in any way, all amber cores in a network of the broken vines via amber vines, blocks or cores will activate, firing a laser that deals 6 hearts of damage (with armour/protection minimum 3 hearts) with a 15 block range. If that player dies to that laser, the death message is (player) got vapourised by an amber core discharge (when escaping (mob/player)
There should be redstone components for these. One that detects if an amber vine/block/core is destroyed, one that can activate amber networks as if a block is destroyed and one that can detect if a laser is hitting it. These all help to complement existing redstone mechanisms and utilise amber cores
