Book of Knowledge (Trade commodity)

The Book of Knowledge would be a trade commodity, given to Librarian Villagers, and Cartographers. Unique mechanics could be attached to this interaction. When given to the librarian, it could upgrade the librarian, allowing it to sell new or upgraded enchantments. When given to a cartographer, he could synthesize new maps, and aid in guided exploration. These books could be given to any villager to advance their trade. These could even lead to villagers making better items than the player. Like an Armoured creating better armour than the player. This could be a Villager update point 2, bringing new value to the villagers.
