Everyone has been talking about the Wild Update, and a lot of people are very very mad/disappointed/upset at Mojang for not keeping their "promises" and removing the Birch Forest update idea and leaving out a lot of stuff. Since the Wild Update was originally planned to update a lot of the biomes and add more ambience to the overworld, that seems to me like a very BIG project. And all we've got so far is the Deep Dark and Mangrove biomes (and no fireflies).
And that SHOULD be fine. But somehow it's not because it's not as big as we thought (despite the Deep Dark being a major thing that should be worthy of a real update). So, since the "Wild Update" doesn't actually revamp the overworld, it should instead be called "the Dark and Damp Update," instead of keeping the old theme of brand-new exploration, it should be called what it is. The Mangrove biome and Deep Dark update, with the frogs. Dark and Damp. Which might lessen the anger a smidge (maybe)?
Then, Mojang can save the Wild Update and all it's hype for a later update (for real though, not just saying that). And then they can take their time in actually doing what they planned to do instead of scrambling to fit in everything at once.
(By the way, I'm not that mad at Mojang. I'm irritated and annoyed by all the controversy about it, and personally the devs should just take their time instead of rushing everything, and people need to just chill. I don't want this to get heated so no angry comments please).
