A new item for the Ancient city: The Murky Mirror!

The Murky Mirror can be found in ancient cities but will be in a broken form , so it will require 9 echo shards to repair. The item can be used to send the player back to their spawnpoint after holding the use button for 10 seconds. It has 12 durability and can be repaired using echo shards. Mending can also be applied to it, but it is not as effective and takes a long time.

This item would help a lot with resource gathering, and transportation in general, and gives more uses for echo shards and gives more incentive to explore ancient cites.

    I have a similar portal idea, although instead it allows transport through Deep Dark Cities much more easier. I like your use of echo shards though.

    It would be cool and maybe more "lore" to have a craftable "mirror portal" that you would place somewhere and right click with the Murky mirror. It would also prevent you to be teleported at your last bed.

    sounds a lot like a terraria copy. What if the mirror allows you to see, in its reflection, some elements of the past before the ancient civilization doom? like... i don't know, translating texts, revealing ghosts and original buildings...
