Hey guys, I would like to share my ideas with you for a brand new Minecraft biome heavily inspired by the old forests of Britain near where I grew up, The Ancient Woodland. I think this would be a great addition to the game because it would raise awareness for the destruction of the habitat due to issues like the HS2. Before I start ranting on about politics here are some of the features I would love to see in The Ancient Woodland:
Location: This biome would be located deep within regular oak forests and would have a rare chance of spawning.
Old Oaks, The Old Oak would have the same wood and leaf blocks as the regular oak but would look more organic and would be at least 4x4 blocks in width and would range from 15 to 20 blocks tall.
Badgers, The Badger will be a new mob that would be nocturnal similar to the fox, but would have a burrow it can hide away in at day. When badgers are bred they have a chance of shedding/dropping their fur. Badger fur can be used to craft a badger helmet, similar to the turtle helmet this helmet gives the player a potion effect, night vision. Adding this mob to the game would raise awareness for the poaching and culling of badgers in their hundreds of thousands
Bluebells, The bluebell would be a generic Minecraft flower and would look similar to the blue orchid, though it would give of light blue particles similar to the spore blossom. This would add more atmosphere to the ancient Woodland biome.
