    First of all it seems unnecessary to me.

    As for the "insane combos". that just means comboing will become very easy. In the current 1.9+ combat system, comboing requires near perfect judgment of the sword's 1.6 attack speed, 3 block reach, movement, and W tapping. And there is very little room for error, since if you slightly misjudge something, the combo will be over. Which means that current combo mechanics take great skill.

    Second of all, I don't think you know how OP that would be. For example in crystal PVP, you normally have to use your sword for a bit, before getting just the right opportunity to hit crystal the opponent (while the opponent is airborne). But, If this was implemented it would make PVP a joke. In that you could easily kill a fully enchanted netherite player in the first second of a fight. the insane KB, the enchantment would provide (possibly combined with slow falling), would make allow a large window of opportunity, making it easy for even noobs to have a chance to hit crystal in PVP, making the many hours of practicing to hotkey several items all in a fraction of a second a bit redundant, thus making Crystal PVP (the hardest gamemode in my opinion) super easy and skillless. Currently, sprint hits and knockback enchantments only majorly affect horizontal knockback, and I think it should be kept that way.

    Interesting suggestion though. But I do not think it is suitable.

    You have a good point, then maybe it should be like, extremely hard to find, and with netherite, you wouldn’t really take kb at all, maybe there should only be one level of it, that hits you half a block up, but does almost no kb in other directions
