    Alright, so I'd like to give my opinion and what I think could take their place:

     

    Special attacks

    I would definitely love to see more special attacks be added in the form of enchantments... I actually had some ideas for this.

    Heavy attacks

    This basically already exists, and It's called a charged attack.

    Thrust attacks

    Again, charged attacks already do this, so no need to suggest this.

    Phalanx position

    Let me just say this now; this is absolutely perfect, we actually do need more unique combat mechanics like this... an auto-attack at the cost of rendering yourself potentially vulnerable by slowing yourself down? Sign me up!

    Duel wielding

    I really don't get this one... maybe instead, we could just have off-hand weapons be used with a right-click? It would be a simple yet genius move if done right.

    Air strike

    so basically Critical hits? although I'm guessing that hold-to-attack Air strikes should get a 1-point damage reduction.

    SpeedStrike

    The idea that this does 100% more damage (or double damage) sounds rather overpowered... maybe instead you could decrease the hold-to-attack cooldown by .2? It would really fit the name.
