The Allay Ideas

• Summoned in birch forest, oak forest, or dark oak forest (must be within biome boundaries)
• Using a noteblock or playing music from a jukebox will summon one Allay that peeps out from a nearby tree, comes over to the musical device, and does the adorable dance.
• Only one Allay can be summoned per in-game day by one person.
• Another requirement would be to have a new armor type, amethyst boots, on.
• Amethyst boots could have 1 armor point and very low durability (about the same as gold boots). While walking with these boots on, the amethyst noise would play so you can always have music beneath your feet.
• Amethyst boots also cause an Allay to follow the player. If they do not have amethyst boots on, the Allay will find the nearest noteblock and have that as it's "workstation".
• Noteblocks would link to Allays just as villager workstations function. This would create organized automation.
• Allays should not be able to fly through blocks as that would limit many contraptions that have to do with releasing Allays to collect certain items.
• The Allay should come in several colors, blue, yellow, pink, purple, and a rare green. The blue would be most common.
• The Allay could possibly spawn with a specific music disc that it likes and if you play it, the Allay will have a permanent speed boost (but just by a little). This would give more inscentive for players to try to collect all music discs.

  And also Allays fight particular mobs, i.e vexes, phantoms and blazes when carrying a sword(that's overpowering the mob tho)

  And probably they should smile when music is played on the Jukebox

  I'd think Amethyst Armor would be possible, but it's sketchy since Amethyst are common despite being in a small cave area, and its existence may also break the balance

  Also we'll only wait their confirmation when 1.19 comes

  Thank you Stealth for including my ideas in your video!

  Here are some more ideas for my favorite mob in minecraft.

  • The Allay will only be found in a new beautiful structure in the birch forest, known as the mystic pass.
  • It would be summoned and pop out from a nearby tree in this place with a small pond (with a waterfall) the Allay could also occassionally jump into the water with a splash animation, just to give it more character.
  • The player would also get the "An Allay a Day" Advancement. The reason some of the progression is as it is with 1) not getting multiple every day, 2) needing only simple amethyst boots and noteblocks, is that the allay should be usable early to mid game as well as expanded in late game (specific music disc finds increasing speed).
  • The Allay could also not automatically connect to a note block, but maybe by playing a noteblock, the nearest unlinked allay will pair to it.
  • Another late game progression idea is cloaks, made from "ancient cloth" from the deep dark (or archeology when it is added). These customizable stylish outfits would not only stop ranged attacks (arrows) by having them pass right through the allay, but the player could wear these as well, blocking some of their hitbox when dealing with arrows. The feet are still in trouble tho.

  I have a idea for the allay: the player who tames the allay is the only player that can give the allay something and take away something from the allay. This will be useful because if you have a brother or sister that likes to mess with your stuff they can't change what the allay has so they can't mess up your idea with the allay and you can have your own personal mob that only you can mess with.
