What is parity? This category is designed just for features that exist but work one way on one platform, and another way on a different platform. Bugs are not parity! Items in snapshots and betas are subject to change so please be sure to only post about things that are currently released in Minecraft. Please read the intro post before you post!

This could also make it easier to leave the Beta if implemented correctly.

I think this is quite complicated to implement because of the console editions etc. Java has a version.jar for every version you play but Bedrock just has one executable which is the game. If you would implement such a version changer you would either have to make the version executables downloadable or you needed to stuff every version that ever existed into the executable which would make it unbelievably big

It's not that difficult after all...

    1. You download the Minecraft launcher from Play and App Store
    2. From the launcher, you download game files using Mojang servers, not from Google and Apple servers allowing you to pick version including betas and snapshots

Cmon Mojang you can do it!!

Perhaps this would work like it does in console edition (sorta).

In the main menu, theres the button to go back to "old minecraft". If we added this for other parts of the bedrock platform, it could work similar, only with an older version of that platform's game. Only downside I see is that the file size change would probably be a lot larger between some versions such as the initial change from 1.17 to 1.18.

I do like the idea tho :D
    +1 from me

A low traffic realms server I play with family on is constantly out of date, and thus my constantly up to date client refuses to connect to it. Currently the third party version switchers are broken for me as well.
