Realistic Light Update (colored lights, shadows, reflections, refractions)
The clean and geometric aesthetics of Minecraft RTX and Trailers, should be integrated into Minecraft Java and Bedrock without needing an RTX graphics card (just like other high graphics games they work on any graphics card with higher or lower performance)
It would be about improving the graphics by making the light behave in a realistic way, but without adding things that don't fit with Minecraft as shaders do (green movement, water waves, clouds with realistic shapes). All these things have nothing to do with lighting and shouldn't be added to Minecraft because they don't fit the style shown in the new official Minecraft advertising (pictures, trailers, renders, etc).
As the ray tracing of the bedrock version does, it would try to improve only the aspects that have to do with the behavior of light: colored lights, directional and omni directional shadows, reflections and refractions. And to not affect performance so much it wouldn't be necessary to use path tracing, using shadow maps for the sun and block lights would be enough. (like most games do)
