This could be a rather interesting Side-grade to diamond, and with this being added, players could be given a choice when looking at the two Items: "do I go for less knockback and Armor toughness, or do I go for the additional damage?", It really adds a good aspect of choice to Minecraft by adding more to the Progression table while not just being another useless tier. Netherite is more about being able to claim it even if it's destroyed in lava, while being more tougher than some mere diamonds, while this armor set could be about risking your life, taking them down with you if you're low on health.

Yeah. Giving the player room to make a choice in their progression path is definitely what I was aiming for with this post, and what I'd generally like to see more of in the game, especially when there's so much potential. Glad to see people enjoy this idea too thought! It's really heartwarming.

Good idea, but I feel like it’s too overpowered. I would add something like this in the end, not the deep dark. Maybe jade…?

Perhaps something in the end would be cool, though I just felt like sharing this idea now since I remember Kingbdogz recently mentioning not being sure about what could go in the deep dark or something among those lines, and since Cory also mentioned the fact Mojang wanted to add more variety into the armor meta, something like this sounded cool in my mind, even there's probably a lot to polish in order to make this an actually good feature. What about it would be overpower exactly thought? I'm just curious to know everyone's opinion.
