Although we have not seen much of the upcoming archeology feature it looks like the dig sites will only be in the overworld. I
I think it would be quite interesting to see archeology dig sites in the other dimensions (specifically the Nether). These dig sites would have unique loot and spawn in specific places. For example some bone blocks in the Soul Sand Vally.
