Add Transfer Packets To All Versions

I say "to all versions" because adding it to one version is just like putting a bandaid over a much bigger wound, honestly. Some servers don't use 1.17, some servers only use 1.17. By adding transfer packets to all versions that multiplayer servers use (usually 1.7.10-1.17) you could make it so servers like Hypixel, etc. could add hosts in Europe, Asia, Australia, etc. and substantially decrease ping for these users.

People playing Hypixel in say, Chicago, can easily reach ping as low as 16ms, whereas I don't think I've seen an Australian user say they get under 200-300. 

Adding transfer packets would allow server hosting to reach different regions without having to split up the playerbase.

    I doubt mojang will add it since they actively try and avoid the question

    I think they should just add it to major versions and at least the latest versions.
    And as the earlier comment say that they both crash due to unsupported packet maybe like Hypixel did some tweaking to support all these versions on the same server maybe Hypixel or Mojang can do that for the packets as well. Also maybe Mojang can provide the option to whether to use transfer packets or not. 
    I don't know much about these technical things but I hope if Mojang and Hypixel can do something about this everyone would be really happy but at last it depends on Mojang. So Mojang I request that the idea of adding transfer packet to older or newer or both version should be considered.

    Transfer packet? Yeah!
    For all versions? No...

    It cannot be considered to update 6-years old versions of Minecraft JE just for the sake of some servers... If they want to use the transfer packet then, either they update the whole server to the latest version (which would be pretty good in fact, they could make use of all the new features of Minecraft), or only use this packet for the players with an up-to-date game.

    Players from far-away countries will then have a choice: not to update and still have large ping, or update and benefit from it.

    Adding this to older versions would cause a version change and then no longer applying to those versions. I get that servers like Hypixel have a variety of versions supported, but Mojang doesn't officially support it. I don't think they should update older versions for anything besides critical security concerns, because then the version isn't the same version anymore. If either a client or server sent an unsupported packet to each other, they both crashed.

    honestly though, i play hypixel almost every day and its soo difficult for me to do things because im always lagging with 250 ping. If they could just add an asian server that would be amazing. This post needs more votes.

    I see no chance of mojang adding it to the old versions. Play new versions for new features.
    That said, this would be so useful.

    Yes plz add transfer packets to all minecraft versions I am tired of getting 300ms on hypixel.

    I live in asia and whenever im not hypixel i get upwards of 150 ping so i dont really stand a chance against people from the us. Adding Transfer packets will be a game changer.

    I agree with most if not all comments in this feedback vote. they should make transfer packets and add them to the game. they shouldn't do this to all versions since that would be too much work and not that useful but adding them to the popular versions and newer versions would indeed be good. as a hypixel player i get 150-250ms and that isnt really an optimal ping. especially for the past 2 days i cant play hypixel because when i join and try to go into a game or do anything the server doesnt respond. i get teleported into limbo or timed out. another way this end is that i keep clicking with the game menu on the skyblock teleport npc until i get teleported, the game menu opens where i spam the skyblock logo or get put into, you guessed it: limbo or just get timed out
