Players of bedrock edition have shown clear discontent with the current bans system. As mojang wants the best for the playerbase I think that they should take this discontent to heart, I believe that there is currently some disconnect between the playerbase and mojang (and they have been great at listening to our suggestions before).
Here is how I think the bans should be handled:
Realms, if a person that is buying a realms decides to invite someone that is banned, that is their trouble to deal with it.
But how could the host know someone is banned? The new account system, give a banned person a red triangle that, when you hover your mouse over it, it would say something like: 'xXEpicGamer123Xx was banned for: [Reasons of ban]. Make sure this is the person you want to invite'
There, friends can now have their own world and mess with each other with what THEY think is reasonable without bothering others.
'What if someone inside the realms does do something unwanted'?
Each player could get a list of people they played with in a realm (even after they leave) so they can later on report them (even if they get kicked or leave the game before being reported)
This should apply to everything, if I want to join a private server with friends and im banned, the same system above should be used, the server owner personally invites me to his server.
This isnt a bypass, big servers that are truly public dont have the resources to invite everyone.
