    It would be nice if it could also have some kind of shot that would do a lot of damage, but that would be easy to dodge something like a sound wave from the skull sensor, so if you do a pillar upwards it would throw you because although it can break blocks if you have more height you can continue shooting at him and I have a doubt his destruction would be similar to that of the wither abisame if I miss something

    The Warden definitely will need a ranged defense/attack, and I agree it should be able to bust through some blocks, to reach players. I like the balance of your suggestion tied to health, though in addition to throwing blocks I think it could have some sort of sonic attack to induce nausea and some damage.

    Some other things I've seen suggested to reduce the Warden kill that I think would tie to this:

    -Have the Warden be the source/generator for skulker growth and skulker sensors;

    -Have an achievement "Counting Coup" for sneaking up on the Warden and shearing him for a drop (achieving two things players like with a condition of not killing the Warden in a high risk, high skill challenge)

    what if the warden had a quake ability smashing the ground and dealing splash damage and crushing blocks around it
