The ideia is that when the player ventures underground the world fog would change color to black or a darker color than the day light blue. The reason is that when exploring massive caves, not every computer is able to render that many chunks at once, so the daylight blue fog being present in the new dark underground is a massive immersion/atmosphere breaker for it's distraction and out of place condition, so by making the world fog black when underground would make for greater immersion and atmosphere in the new cave generation, specialy for the biggest caves and for users with low render settings.
