I totally agree, iron is almost impossible to find. I found emeralds, coal and lupus by the stack, but iron, I tried high and low, literally, and found about 29 ores, I found double the amount of diamonds. I was lucky and had a pick axe and few blocks in a blacksmith, but seriously need to sort out finding it natarually

This is very accurate, I couldn’t seem to find a single cave that wasn’t completely flooded with water, and I also seemed to find more than double the amount of diamonds than iron, but every other ore I got was in a accurate ratio.

You are right the same thing happened to me, I hope they read this proposal that you put.

Same here. I found some huge underwater caves that were fantastic but not a single hole in the side of a mountain or in the ground even into a smaller cave. The few holes in the ground I found (and there were far less than usual) were filled with water. I had to dig straight down a fair distance to find a single cave to explore. I found iron about three times in all my exploring too. Although tons of emerald on the surface. Also didn't find a single canyon in all the exploring I did - I hope these aren't being removed with the new caves.

It's hard finding any caves that are not filled with water. Then it's hard to find any ores. I went strip mining and couldn't find anything.

Agree!! I had to go flying around to just find a cave and then when I did, water, water and more water! I also can't find iron for nothing. I hope this gets fixed.

Yeah lt's like a cave update with no access to caves in the early game, they should fix it quickly, im not asking for perfect cave gen but at least not flooded ones

This is honestly true. I can only find at least 3 to 2 caves in each seed and it's either I have to go strip mining or underwater.

    Same, I can't find it

I haven't had any issues. I keep a door in my inventory named "snorkel" just in case of underwater adventures.

Shoot, cannot "strip mine" (mining every layer underground with a reasonable gap between levels and tunnels) without flooding a tunnel or level. Makes it very inconvenient....

I haven't found any normal caves either. I also got my friend to help me and we explored 3 different worlds and couldn't find any surface caves or ravines. Also we struggled to get any coal when we did have to dig. In the end we resorted to finding a mountain to get the coal from the surface. As for the iron it seems impossible to get loads while we did find over 40 diamonds in the end

If you start in a bigger mountain and dig a shaft you can find a normal non underwater cave. Where as I agree that there are far to many under water caves, saying that there are ONLY underwater caves, and not being able to find iron isn't a fair judgement.

This is definitely a concern. I’ve filled out many maps searching for a cave that isn’t underwater. One trick I’ve found is using a azalea tree to dig straight under and find a tropical cave biome. This won’t be underwater since the biome needs air to grow! It usually connects to hollow caves as well 😁

True. Especially since the door trick don't work in the latest bedrock updates, exploring the "beautiful brand new updated massive caves" is but a dream now.

Same here...I finally found enough iron to make a pick axe since I was missing out on all the diamonds I was missing out on. I finally found a dry cave I can explore by digging straight down for a long time, broke into it and it really was massive and super interesting...and still no iron among the huge vast open walls and ceilings. I'm gonna start a new experimental world and hope for some better luck in the iron department.

oh gosh yes! I made a new world to check out the beta and I cant explore the new caves because half of them are filled with WAY TOO MUCH WATER. Didnt realize i needed to bring scuba gear to go spelunking...

Every cave in this update below sea level or connected to a body of water is completely filled, if you go into the mountains and dig down they aren't, still it's a problem

I agree. While I do like water caves, it is impossible to find iron and in the beginning of the game I had two stacks of diamonds, and only 7 ores or iron. I just fell into lava with a full set of diamond armor and tools, and more diamonds I found. I am more upset I lost the 36 iron ores because it has taken me forever to find iron!

I found a fix for the problem. Create your world without experimental features turned on. Load into it. You should see the old generation with surface caves and more biome diversity. Then exit and save, go into edit world and turn on experimental features. It should make a copy of your world with caves and cliffs enabled.

Just started the beta today. It's as if sea level is too high. It's still 62, but everything seems flooded and there are zero dry caves. There is also zero iron except what is in chests and golems.

I’ve had the exact problem too. While the underwater caves have a really cool atheistic they are extremely hard to explore in survival. Also in extreme hill biomes there are hundreds of emeralds on the surface.

Yes, I agree way too many flooded caves. Even all the ravines I've found were flooded. I've not found a single cave that's not full of water. I hope they can fix this soon, I'd really like to build in one of the new caves.

I still have yet to find a normal entrance to a cave. All of them are now either in oceanss or under rivers which are now monstrously deep and intricate, which don't get me wrong is ABSOLUTELY fantastic. I love that! It's just reaaaalllly really hard to get any mining done when you gotta make pockets of air by digging out a block or two which could take up to 5 minutes depending on the location (having to go up for breaths in between each block and all), if they wanted this to happen, the least they could have done was leave the trapdoors, ladders, doors, signs, torches and anything else I have missed to also make air pockets but nah those don't do that anymore on top of this issue.

I have to agree, There is a lot of underwater caves, but I think it might have to do with the biome. I have found that there may be too many caves.  I do not get deepslate below y-5. I don't get anything except ores and stone. that's it. all the ores are generating normally but I get lush caves, and stone caves down low, they seem to feel like old aquifers, and there's lava pits at the bottom.  and I have not found any deepslate caves. Not one. but I am in survival maybe a trip into creative would be good.
