    What are you talking about? Spam clicking does reduce the effectiveness of the attacks. Holding down the button auto-attacks, but it takes longer than doing it manually. If you time the attacks yourself, you can attack faster while still getting the full damage.

    Like the post said above, you don't always want to spam click. Normally you want to be timing your hits correctly instead of just holding down the button(which is a bit slower than actually spam clicking). You also lose range when spam clicking. The charged attacks already deal more damage. Normal, spammed/held attacks deal 100% while charged(full cooldown is over) deal 200%. It might be the same case for critical attacks but I'm not sure.
