going up mountains takes to long

When the new caves and cliffs update comes out (1.18) there will be a lot of mountains to climb and its a tedious task and yes there are horses to get up mountains faster but it can take a while to get a saddle. So maybe if you could ride the goats you could hop your way up the mountain much faster without needing a saddle.

It would be more interesting that there be some unique way of traversing mountains. Sleds would be fitting for Minecraft. Perhaps instead of riding goats, they pull the sled, or a variant of the wolf?
