Keep the critical hits idea when player attack while falling.

    This will probably be very unbalanced with an elytra, if you'd go high enough you can one shot anything. Unless you add a limit for example 10 blocks=+2 damage. Then i could see it in the game with a little bit of tweaking from Mojang themselves.

    yes but don't forget about fall damage. Feather Falling would be essential.
