After we got the Textures updated, how about moving from eyes to ears and requesting a Sound Update?
It may sound a little bit uncreative, but if I request a Sound Update, I don't simply request more realistic sounds or just adding more sounds per sound event. Of course, my idea includes this, but that is by far not all.
I scrolled through Minecraft Wiki lately and soon discovered the "Sounds" chapter. However, I noticed that many blocks and items use generic sounds, often those from stone. Furthermore, I found out that Loops are always the same sound file, so why don't randomize those to? Other sound events have only one sound, like the closing of a barrel.
Now, there's one problem with that. With each new sound file added, the assets get bigger, resulting in longer downloads. I can't tell when this post will come "Under Review" (If it reaches this category at all) and I neither can tell how far technology will be at this point. But once you think your PC is ready for that and/or you like my idea, please consider voting! Thanks!
