(Legacy Console Parity) World Sizes Classic, Small, Medium & Large.
I honestly feel like if you are reading this you & me as silly as this might sound must be kindred spirits because we both dislike Minecraft’s “Infinite Worlds” & believe it is the games biggest issue right now. :(
The problem for me & so many others in the Minecraft Community isn’t that Infinite worlds are inherently bad it’s just that they aren’t one choice of multiple they are the only choice sadly. You can’t choose between Classic 864 X 864, Small 1024 X 1024, Medium 3072 X 3072 then Large-sized worlds 5120 X 5120 such as on the Legacy Editions of the game. You can only play either Old Type worlds which are limited to 256x256 blocks and have an Invisible Bedrock Barrier around them or Infinite worlds.
Adding the original Console Edition world sizes Classic, Small, Medium & Large to Java and more importantly, Bedrock Edition would bridge the gap between Old worlds & Infinite worlds and offer many more options for players & the community in general.
Also naturally, Nether scaling would be changed as well to match the world sizes respectfully if this were to be implemented (For example, on a Classic 864 X 864 map, NetherScale would be 3 instead of 8). The Nether would also generate Bedrock Walls, that the outermost chunks would be deleted and regenerated if a World this way were changed to for example small, medium, large or Infinite later on.
