In the 21W16A Snapshot, the raw ore block textures were changed alongside the raw ore items themselves. I LOVE both the New and Old block Textures, one indeed looks like a bean and the other stones and a stony path. I have no problem with the item textures either, maybe a few tweaks, but thats for a separate post.
Now, when I saw the original textures for the raw ore blocks, they looked much like stony paths as I said and I thought up millions of path designs and builds I could use them with. I also thought up some ideas for the New bean Textures, not as many as the original, but still some. I am sure there are many of people that agree with me on preferring the old textures over the new. So, to please all players, we should be able to craft the new block textures into the old ones from 21W15A.
The crafting recipe is incredibly simple, only needing the player to place one block or stack of blocks into one slot of the crafting table. This will then craft that block or stack of 64 into the old textures and will give a 1:1 ratio, meaning you put in one block of the new texture and it gives you one block of the old.
This is incredibly simple, won't interfere with normal gameplay and won't need the use for texture packs or resource packs since we can have both textures at once, being essentially two separate items once crafted (which also means the old and new textures blocks won't stack together when crafted).
