Minecraft bedrock subtitles

I have a friend who is deaf and plays Minecraft bedrock edition and because there are no subtitles it is very hard for him to play the game because he doesn't know when and where mobs are. also subtitles help with speedrunning and just regular gameplay and are a feature i would like so see come to Minecraft bedrock.

    It's very disappointing to see that 2 months & a major game update later, subtitles are still absent from bedrock edition. They're a very basic accessibility option and also present in Java. why were they excluded from bedrock?

    It's so frustrating that they're not in bedrock, especially considering it's already on Java

    That suggestion is for adding a "Bedrock Edition" subtitle to the logo, whereas this one is for adding closed captioning to the game. (A feature that is present in Java but still absent in Bedrock.)

    Deaf or hard of hearing Bedrock players should be able to play Minecraft with the same level of ingame awareness as hearing players.

    It's very disappointing that this has not been added. It reminds me of the literal years it took for Microsoft to add a mono sound setting for Windows.

    Additionally, the whole concept of having "votes" on requests like this is ableist. The whole point of accessibility is that it's for people who are a MINORITY.

    I have auditory processing issues so I have the subtitles on constantly in java, I just got bedrock edition and couldn't believe they didn't have a subtitles option. I'd like to know if the sounds I'm hearing are real, thanks T-T

    I also just noticed this post is from over a year ago smh can't believe they haven't added it

    I would like to see sound subtitles added into Minecraft : Bedrock Edition because it is a basic accessibility feature for deaf or hard-of-hearing people. It is in Minecraft : Java Edition, so why are sound subtitles not in Bedrock Edition? It is very disappointing.

    It absolutely needs to be and I can't understand how microsoft still cant figure out to add something so simple.
