I forgot to mention but all three of these new enchantments are exclusive to each other.

For ex: I can not put True vision on a spyglass with sol sight.

I feel like sol sight is overpowered, and that the rest are too much like potions. But I do want enchantments on the telescope.

    Here's one thought of mine:

    Synchrony

Pairs the location that is being viewed with the sounds that can be heard there. This would be useful for detecting mobs without coming into close proximity of them. If there is a corner in a long cave, you wouldn't have to put yourself at risk of walking into a hoard of monsters to tell if they are there. However, the noises would be hard to distinguish from the bunch of mobs that are in the game, so listen carefully.

    Tracing

Brightens, saturates, speeds up, increases the quantity and render distance of all particles. Here are a list of its benefits:

    – status effects are made more distinguishable due to the increased saturation of the particles

    – invisible entities are more conspicuous because their particles are more eye catching

This enchantment imbues the spyglass with a magic that focuses on particles. Negative effects of this on vision:

    – Non-particles are rendered at 64 blocks, it increases the thinner the air is so this aspect makes the enchantment best above Y=256, but you will suffer from the thin atmosphere and cold

    – Non-particles have very low saturation

    – Non-particles are darker

This enchantment is better for filtering mobs or trying to better locate invisible entities.

Synchrony, tracing, clearsight and a way to magnify are all things I would love to see

Maybe sol sight should only work in clear weather during the day

I'd only want the first one. True vision would likely be java-exclusive as bedrock doesnt have glowing, and an enchantment that affects the durability of the item doesn't make sense.

@Issac Annear Your synchrony enchantment sounds cool, but I think that it shouldn't be a telescope enchantment, and instead a relic you can find in deep dark chests, becuase it is similar to the skulk sensor/warden's way of detecting vibrations.

I see your point, but I still feel like it really fits as an enchantment. Lapis Lazuli is found underground, and there has been talk about the amethyst being a different type of enchantment power, so perhaps there could be something that grows in the deep dark that could also power the enchantment table for a different class of enchants. This would also balance out the renewability of enchantment power-items.

I know bedrock does not have the glowing effect because it is the only version I play. I was implying that they would add the glowing effect to bedrock so that Clearsight can be on both versions.

Sol sight might be a good enchantment that you have a rare chance of finding in a woodlen mansion.

Martin Ajayi I know that that was kind of implied, but knowing mojang, they will make the enchantment java-exclusive because it will be the easiest thing to do.

Also yes I got the clearsight reference.

The spyglass enhances one of three senses available to Minecraft so far. As such, enchantments that deal with the senses likely fit the theme of the spyglass the most. However, people have killed ants by focusing light on them, so weaponizing the spyglass isn't totally out of the question, as the spyglass works in a similar way to a laser cutter.

Fantastic ideas there will definitely make the spy glass much more useful!
