Listen, I know it was removed, but please for all that you love, make it so that you can tame axolotls like dogs and cats, I know it would be difficult, but there are quite the few comments saying how we could do this, please make them tame able, they are my F a v o r i t e animal, and I was heartbroken when you made them untamable.
    Other suggestions:
    Jeb_ with the axolotls fins
Splash water bottle for drying out
    If you name the axolotl
“Axo” a small hat appears on their head. (Dungeon and Dragons joke)
    Thank you for reading.

The axolotl "play dead" ability is really overpowered, they basically never die, and thus, players can be extremely careless and not worry about any consequences. The main problem about the play dead ability is that enemies can't target them. To fix this, rather than making them undetectable, just make them less likely to be detected by enemies. For instance, if the player had a swarm of axolotls, enemies would focus on axolotls that are not playing dead over ones that are. However, if the axolotl playing dead was alone, or several of them were playing dead, then enemies would start being aggressive towards the axolotls that are playing dead.

I can't try it on java since it laggs a lot, so I became a bedrock beta tester. I absolutely love the axolotls! They are so cute! I placed some in the ocean in creative mode and they destroyed a whole half of it! No fish were left! It's so cool!

Axolotls need a major buff like maybe double their current health points

È già uno dei miei mob preferiti: adoravo di già gli axolotl per le loro unicità, e ora che gli avete aggiunti in Minecraft sono al settimo cielo!

Axolotls in real life do recognize their owners maybe they will come towards the player that had put them in the bucket(s) as how Ocelots and foxes work will come towards the player who trust .

I love them! They are adorable and perfect in every way! One problem though: They attack aquatic animals for nothing. I think they should at least try to eat the drops.

I was thinking that maybe axolotls can be made non-hostile to passive mobs like fish when they are in range of conduits and maybe sea lanterns.

I think that when axolotles dry out on land they should be able to rehydrate in cauldrons

I'm playing Beta on Bedrock (my Samsung Galaxie X9) and I can only tame axolotls using a bucket of tropical fish, not a tropical fish itself.

Make that when you have an axolotl in a bucket, it has an animation as it jumps and swims, it would be even more cute!

I think a few things the axolotl could be improve by are:

~When the axolotl is drying out it should turn a paler color version of whatever color it is

~When playing dead axolotls could be immune to an attack for 5 seconds before it can be attacked again

~Tropical fish could spawn in lush caves since as of right now they are the axolotls favorite food.

Please consider these ideas, as they would be interesting details.

Yes I'm playing in the current snapshot I'm playing around in creative and I keep trying to make a nice pond to keep axolotls in, but they keep despawning even if I use a name tag and give them a name. They are actually spawning outside of a cave (so are the glowsquids) but if I make them a pond they dissapear.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is there a certain size pond that they like?  or should I not be using creative?

Hi. I have something to say about this.

    1. The axolotl buckets are a glitchy name. Something like minecraft.axolotlbucket.name.

2.I am exited to get axolotls. I have been working on a minecraft aquarium, and I will add these new fish.

    3. Please let people put tropical fish in their off hand.

you should be able to metamorphose them into terrestrial salamanders by giving them some kind of potion.

First of all, An amazing mob!

I found a small bug when you spawn the Axolotls on Lily Pad they glitch in it and starting moving around it.

https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/profiles/410058947311-PlumBrake751607 Don’t forget that Guardians exist. But I do agree there could be more hostile underwater mobs.

We need some kind of repelent, something that would prevent them spawning in aquariums and other things, like I had aquarium with glow squids and next time I came there, there were just axolotls, I know a lot of people which also have aquariums and single axolotl could ruin it if unnouticed

Two suggestions: Axolotls should only spawn in the lush caves to make that biome feel more unique and give more of a reason to find it, and you should be able to hold tropical fish buckets in the offhand on bedrock

You should be able to tame them by killing the thing that they were attacking it will be a small chance and the chance will grow from each time you kill what they were killing
