Renewable Dripstones using Fortune + some minor Changes

In order for this to work.. when mined, Dripstone block should drop 3-4 Pointed Dripstones instead of the block itself — the same mechanic that Clay block has — so you will get more Pointed Dripstones when you're using a Fortune pickaxe to mine it = Renewable Dripstones. ( since Dripstone block just need 4 Pointed Dripstones to be crafted )

That idea seems simple but actually a game changer  since it'll open up a new Major Feature for Dripstone. Dripstone Block Variants  ( like polished, pillar, etc ) will most likely be added since Dripstone will become easier to find — like all stone types that have block variants. With that, Dripstone will have more uses & features plus, more Building blocks for Builders which is even greater.

    I think that instead, Dripstones should slowly grow from Dripstone Blocks. It seems like a cooler way to do it than just allowing Fortune to be applicable. Stone could even transform into Dripstone Blocks when in the biome.

    CallieBestGirl2 That's a cool idea and I also have thought of that but, I think it will annoy players when it comes to terraforming or just builds because of the growth since they have to put string to every pointed dripstone that they placed on the dripstone block, that will look weird.

    Hey i kinda stopped reading right at the beginning because i realised a flaw. It takes 4 pointed dripstone to make 1 block. So if breaking a block gave 3-4 pointed dripstone and fortune increased the drops, it would mean that with one dripstone block, you could make potentially infinite dripstone blocks because 4 pieces make 1 block and with fortune III you're likely to get more than 4 pieces per block. So they'd have to take away the crafting recipe to make dripstone blocks. Even increasing the recipe to 9 pointed dripstone to make 1 block wouldn't work. Am i wrong? Maybe I'm missing something. This is just my thoughts. No disrespect
