I know that Wardens are described as a sort of natural disaster. However, the information available doesn’t make it seem like one. What I propose is to make Wardens more like a natural disaster. For example, in a real life disaster, there are ways in which to mitigate the effects of a disaster and/or prepare for them if you lived through one before. I propose something similar could be in place for Wardens. Obviously you wouldn’t be able to kill a Warden since you can’t kill a disaster, however, you could prepare in case you do encounter one. There should be a way to mitigate Wardens as societies can mitigate natural disasters. Maybe there could be clever ways to loot the Deep Dark while also distracting a Warden. Maybe one player could lure a nearby Warden away while the other player loots the chest. Maybe a player could throw a splash potion of slowness at a Warden so that they can escape from the Deep Dark. Things like this should be allowed if the developers had not already thought about this. Wardens should be developed as if you could replace them with an earthquake, tornado, or flood. However, not all natural disasters can be mitigated the same way. I would like to see maybe multiple ways to mitigate Wardens as well as maybe a few Warden variants being added as well.
