Render Distance on Xbox One S simply is insufficient at 14 chunks.

To add insult to injury. My brother told me the render distance for iOS is 18 chunks. That right there tells me that the Xbox One S can very easily double that. I had absolutely zero trouble with performance when it was 22 chunks. 14 chunks is frankly insufficient for a pretty recent console like the Xbox One S.

They have taken great lengths to make sure no one can change the render distance. The TXT. options file, which is a file that used to allow you to set a custom render distance, has been disabled as of the update that reduced the render distance. To make it worse, all the feedback suggestions that get added or considered by the developers are 2 or 3 years old, which may mean we won't see it restored or fixed for 2 to 3 years. I greatly have a distaste for Mojang after this happened.

It is pretty crazy that it has been lowed to a little 14 chunks. Which used to be 22 and it used to function fine , my phone isn't that particularly powerful and it does 20. The Xbox one s can do it fine why is it being taken away. If it's some realms thing then why is it affecting normal game play. 95%+ of people never play realms I bet

My iPhone XR can do 32 Chunks which runs really smothly. Switch is running the game in 14 chunks which is not good I have heard so many times from various YouTubers that they choose bedrock because render distance and preformence is better. Then why my Xbox one s runs Minecraft 10 year old game the same as switch I mean I am a Java player but now I am far from home and my Xbox series x which I don’t now how far render distance goes there I assume 32 chunks but idk.and as I wanted to play the game on Xbox I can’t it’s nearly unplayable also I run the server which render is locked for every player to 10 and I play on shaders which is kinda self explanatory why only 10
But on fricking Xbox one………..ach man I’m so angry about this what next maybe set graphics to low and lock chunks only to 10
