Voice chat

The console and the other platform minecraft players want voice chat to talk to each other rather than chatting

    i need this soo me and my friend can still play together without having to do text chat, we're on different systems now, them on PS and me on XB, this would benefit everyone i think.

    I've seen several modded Java servers with proxy chat and it seems to work well. I play primarily on Bedrock and it would be a quality of life improvement that would change everything in the game for the better.  Especially since most of the people I play with are on console and not PC, it is hard for them to type out their comments.  Proxy Chat would change that so they can enjoy talking without a third party chat involved.
