The Veil is an occasion to -- literally -- rise to; it is a dimension of conquest sporting sprawling dungeons and structures to explore and loot while fighting powerful foes. Some Dungeons sport certain Conduit-like objects which will give the player (or even its monsters) a continuous effect while in range. Some will give players a "falling" debuff which will keep them from flying freely while inside the structure. Such objects can be procured by players who wish to use them to buff mobs or debuff players/mobs, or build bases in the Veil that have gravity (or bases underwater which make players and mobs sink like a rock).

One reward could be a special kind of object that would give players an effect that allows them to place normal blocks in the Veil while in range.

The Veil share a daynight cycle with the overworld.

    New blocks include:

    • Lingering Cloud- A block which entities (except gravity blocks) can pass through, but liquids cannot. Requires Silk Touch Shovel to mine. Generates as secluded clouds, and below terrain as if to prop it up. Puts out entities on fire.
    • Lingering Storm- Cloud block that causes rain effect below it. Created by water-logging a Lingering Cloud by force. Rarely generates.
    • Azurestone- A sky-blue stone that sounds like crystal when stepped on. Changes color with the sky (darkens at night).
    • Azurestone brick variants. Do not change color, but come in Light-blue (Day Bricks), Orange (Sunset Bricks), and Navy-Blue (Night Bricks).
    • Ethereal Trees- Ethereal wood and planks, and Ethereal Leaves. The leaves are off-white, and glow softly in the dark. The wood itself is unusually soft, and grey in color with black bark.
    • Good Soil- A kind of dirt block which, when tilled, will grow crops effectively without being watered (including plants that normally need water, such as sugarcane). Has a grass block equivalent.

+Lingering Snowstorm- Made by using a bucket of powdered snow on a Lingering Cloud. Like the Lingering Storm, but causes snow instead of rain.
