Don't ruin the Strength Effect. Please.
Having the Strength Effect give a linear damage increase is preferable to the percentage increase of the past, and that which is being experimented with in the snapshots. The percentage increase only means that early-game weapons/enchants are useless, while making later-game weapons all the more powerful.
If Strength, giving +3 per level, is too powerful as it is, then I propose we change it to +2 per level, instead of +20%.
Even enchants do not give a percentage-based damage increase, so why is a potion going to affect weapon damage differently depending on what said weapon is made of and enchanted with? The weapon isn't drinking the potion, the player is.
