    The lack of an Add Server button on consoles kneecaps the Bedrock dedicated server community and makes it difficult or impossible to run a server for people we actually know, since most active Bedrock players are on consoles at this point. As a PC Bedrock player trying to run a server, I'm often the weird guy in the corner raving about how great things are over here to people who can't experience it and have to put up with extremely underpowered realms to have persistent worlds, while unable to find anyone I know who can even use my server. Please please please, let us provide our own servers on our own hardware for our own friends.

    I think this should be a thing as a PS4 player. My PS4 is also stronger than my PC and my PC can play custom servers. That is how I know it is not issues with device power. This would allow console players to really have the true Minecraft Bedrock experience.

    I feel like the addition of this would bring alot of people across. No one wants to have to pay for a realm to be able to play with friends. If custom servers were added you could just get a free hosting site like Aternos and not even have to run it yourself and it would still be better than paying for realms.

    This feature is long overdue in the console. Not going to lie most of the servers are P2W and I just want to host a server for me and my friends.

    It's kind of frustrating that adding a custom ip is on every other bedrock addition but ot on the consoles.

    My discord friends have a server, but it's only for java and nobody plays on bedrock so I'm stuck outside till then.

    It would be nice to play with everyone no matter what console you use. It's always fun to have friends on Minecraft so that we can build together and  get creative.

    This DEFINITELY needs to get added so we can create our own servers. The 7 servers in the list are ok at times, but it would be better to make our own or join others who make them. I play on pc and console bedrock since I havn't got java.

    I recently made a Minecraft Bedrock Server, so that my friends could play with me, Survival and Games all on one fully custom server. But, when I found out that they can not add custom servers I was sorely disappointed. The only other option is to buy a Realm, except that that is not an option. My server consists of multiple inter-locked worlds, and a Realm only consists of one. Also, Realms are sort of expensive.

    As it is, all Minecraft versions except console has Custom servers as an option were you can add whatever server you want as long as you know the IP/URL and port.

    I highly suspect that Mojang has removed this option from console for the sole purpose of making extra money on the featured servers.

    This is however rather absurd since adding the option to join whatever server you want would likely not affect the featured servers much if at all.

    Also preventing users from adding Custom servers only results in the use of alternative methods, such as bedrockConnect / geyserconnect or MCXboxBroadcast all of which are possibly maliciously (depending on the host) which puts Mojang's customers at risk.

    Therefore, in my opinion it's in Mojang's interest to add the custom servers list to the game as well as not doing so won't stop users from joining other servers but could possibly enable man in the middle attacks etc for them.
