It is my opinion that the new biomes have made the Nether no longer fun to navigate or experience as a single player. Now navigating through the Nether is a chore as you're constantly battling a never-ending barrage of Bonehead arrow salvos and/or Ghast shots. The Piglins are fine as they have the gold armor mechanic. I don't know if this is Bedrock specific but I can literally watch Boneheads and Ghasts respawn immediately after I kill one in the very same location. It's relentless. I do not mind a challenge and I can understand wanting some difficulty in the game to give groups a challenge and such. But the issue is this makes it tedious and too OP for a single player trying to get through the Nether. This is compounded by the need for blaze rods for multiple game progressing steps. Blaze rods that can only be found by exploring the Nether hoping to find the now, even MORE elusive Nether fortress. My suggestion is some modification to the spawn frequencies of the mobs mentioned or an increased availability of blaze rods. Maybe a slight chance to have blazes spawn outside of a fortress or a way to locate the rods in chests in the Overworld.
