Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Redstone is electricity. Lightning Rods have a connection to redstone.

There is no need for renewable energy sources in minecraft as things that can power redstone can power it infinitely

Redstone Devices' main purpose isn't really to generate power, they are to give power when certain events are measured. Wind and water mills would be useful if wind and water could change states when certain events happened, such as during a storm. Coal Generators would not be useful as they wouldn't measure events and just take up resources to power things when you just need a stick and a piece of cobblestone to make a lever that infinitely powers things
