Let's say that you are in a situation where you are in a small enclosed area and a swarm of zombies are after you, I know that either you would quickly mine or run out of there or try to hold your own against the swarm. I propose a new way to battle enemies in the game, you would have a setting to disable this of course though. You would click a button and you would activate your battle state; now battle state focuses all your items into it's attacking features and focuses on you and your enemies. When you target an enemy in this state you'd get a bossbar of the enemy. Now you left click to attack with your dominate hand and you right click to attack with your offhand. You'd have an invisible combo bar that slowly fills up when you get a successful hit but resets when you get hit yourself. The offhand weapon would get a 50% handicap and that would decrease slowly the more you get combos. Also, while in this state you would be completely unable to place blocks or eat or basically anything that doesn't have to do with combat. All you have to do to get out of battle state would be to click the very same button you clicked to get in. You will lose a lot of hunger the longer you use this state so use it sparingly and it has a minute cooldown after getting out of it to get back in.
