Please read the pinned post on creating new biomes and dimensions. Remember that individual items, mobs, and structures should still go in their own categories - this is not a category for entire updates.

This dimension should have tall jungle-like trees, where they hang upside down and hop from canopy to canopy

The trees could also have vines that grow up, allowing you to make it to the ground, which is above you (void is below)

The ground should have hanging grass that, when you come in contact with, gives the player an animation of them putting their hands up to grab it. They would then be able to walk with their hands on the grass. The grass doesn't cover the entire ground, so you would have to find patches/paths to follow

There should be plants that you can eat or make potions out of that would make it so you float up and/or you see the world as upside down

There should be creatures that look like they are hanging from their hands as well, but when the screen is upside down you see that their arms are actually their legs. They may have really tall shoulders, or they could have antlers/antennas that look like arms and legs. Basically, I want a mob that looks like a different but similar creature when upside down, kind of like the pictures that show an old man one way and a young woman when held upside down

There should be a bunch of structures that resemble stalactites, with possible stalactites hanging from them. The inside should have a bunch of staircases that go in every direction, like in relativity paintings. There could even be doors that change a mobs direction when they enter, allowing them to use the different staircases

The stalactite structures could have spiral staircases on the outside of them. They could drip liquid like normal stalactites, making it the only thing that naturally falls down. This liquid/object could be obtained and used to turn you upside down

The mobs should say things like "Grumm," kind of like an in game hint that naming a mob this will turn them upside down. You could say that they grumble

The upside down mobs could be bug-like. When viewed normally, they would look like people hanging from their hands, but when viewed upside down their "arms" would be their legs and their "legs" would be antennae

Also, having bug-like mobs could result in them being able to walk on all surfaces, making this not just be upside down

The name of this dimension may sound similar to "turv," like "topsy-turvy." The grass/blocks may be called turvf, like turv + turf. The dimension could be called the Turverse (okay, it sounds kinda dumb, but it's all I got so far)

Players may be able to get items and abilities from this dimension that would enable them to climb walls and ceilings. Personally, I think a climbing enchantment for a pickaxe would be cool, but there could also be potions and mobs

If this dimension does have sideways things rather than just upside down things, it could be where vertical/sideways slabs are introduced

It would be cool if palindromes were involved somehow. The mobs could say palindromes, or maybe say things in reverse. Grumm -> Mmurg

The portal could have upside down frames. You may have to jump into it or it may slowly pull you up (it would make interesting features). It would be interesting if it pulls you up when you enter and then pushes you out (still up) when you exit

The portal could be multidirectional, meaning that if it is buildable (rather than being generated) it could be built in any orientation. Still, it could be generated in different directions, with the ruins it is found in being in different directions as well

It could be called the Turniverse, but I fell like that's a bit on the nose

I mentioned Doors that change a mobs direction. They could also be like gateway blocks where they teleport to other blocks whilst displaying the other side of the doorway. They could also be used to make infinite stairways and such

The doors/portals could look a bit like mirrors

Redstone components could be found there such as things that reverse a redstone level, or dampen redstone signals

There could be ways to place things that are dependent on the block below them underneath blocks (like upside down redstone)

What if it was just like the overworld?

    But upside down

The hanging grass blocks may be connected to a falling block that only falls once a player pulls on the grass

I think the void should be the only danger, an passive mobs and npcs should spawn
