I don't think any other successful game in the history of gaming has changed combat not just once, but twice. There's a reason for that as well, because you shouldn't. When you do something as big as changing the combat, it divides the community in a game that's supposed to bring people together. This is most obviously seen in the divide between 1.8 and 1.9+, where even your largest server and a lot of your player base use 1.7-1.8. If you change combat again, more people will be hurt then made happy by this update because people don't have mini game servers you can just make 1.16 combat on. No, a lot of 1.16 servers are anarchy servers that update to new versions and a huge part of it is the combat. (which you are once again changing) I already know veteran minecraft players that will quit with this new update, and I don't want to see that. I have only respect for what you guys are trying with minecraft, too make it the best game possible, But I don't think anyone asked for this update or needed this update. So why are you changing features that didn't need changing that will just divide the community even more? I can guarentee if there was never even an original combat change, (not saying one is better then the other) the community would be flourishing. But it is just so obviously divided and I don't know why mojang is actively pushing for that to be the case. Thank you.
