Spectator Mode (Bedrock)

Planning builds in Java was so much easier with things like Spectator mode, being able to plan out things so that you don't run into underground ravines on accident, or even if you wanted to on purpose for a build idea. Even things like not wanting to destroy certain parts of a build just to get to a piece of some redstone contraption you built, also the fact that bedrock would then be a step further to being as updated as Java is, considering how far behind bedrock is on certain features.

    I would really love to have spectator mode in bedrock so I can locate the new 1.17 caves. We currently have no way to do that in bedrock, and it's just really hard to find anything underground.

    We need spectator mode as there are lot of underground features coming in caves and cliff update it would be nice to add locate biome command to locate any caves or biome like /locate biome lush_caves and then after locating and teleporting there hop into spectator mode and see the caves

    The truth is that I was a bit disappointed not to find the spectator mode in Minecraft Bedrock in the new update :(

    Please mojang put some of the features that there are in java edition in bedrock edition example like: spectator gamemode/ and we can join server on java edition..

    Why is this not being addressed? I just want to be able to locate all the new caves so I can light them up to make my farms affective like in JAVA, I thought they were try to make them the same but whole gamemodes are missing.

    The spectator mode has been in the game code since 1.16 betas but for some reason is not fully implemented. Same thing goes for Hardcore mode which is also in the game files. I doubt that we'll see these features implemented any time soon :/

    I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the necessity of spectator mode for server administration. It's bad enough that we can't even check player inventories for cheating, but it's also incredibly difficult to keep an eye on players for x-ray hacks and such. For a company that makes much of it's profit from hosting servers, it's shocking that they don't give us the tools to administer those servers.

    Spectator mode would be realy helpful it may also be useful in server mini games when you die.

    I would really like to have spectator on bedrock because it’s an easier way to find caves and you can view the pov of a mob which is really cool.
