I really don't see how stackable potions (healing in particular) are more overpowered than the saturation boost from steak that you can easily find early game. Just as having enchanted netherite armor is way better than having iron armor, having potions should be superior healing to eating.

Saturation boost is busted, it undermines both PVE and PVP. It needs to go. Though I agree that hunger goes down too quickly for sprint to be lost by it; I'd rather if sprint loss happened only when starving. Otherwise, the system is fine IMO and is functionally the same as legacy.

the hunger goes down fast while sprint and jumping change looked like a bug to the devs in bedrock edition and its now fixed and the same as the saturation system on java

but the saturation healing is bad
it makes survival way too easy
    makes healing items useless
    and it doesnt make sense
im not a big fan of fighting someone who has full saturation which means he have 7 extra hearts thats just RIDICULOUS you wont be able to know how much your opponent have

honestly i think it what makes 1.9 bad in the first place
because with the saturation healing you can tank someone spam criting you with a maxed gear
