But it should be really slow for it to break the blocks, so that the player can heal, but cant hide like until it goes away or despawns

I think it should break even 3*4 block in same Time but it takes 5 seconds do break.

No, that means that you could never get away from it, and it could follow you back to your base and destroy it.

This is ok? But it could easily be exploited by turning Wardens into auto miners.

exept one block whatever that block is that the cave is made out of. but just to make the player not cheat the block will take a minute to mine so. to block or pillar up it would take 3 muinetes just enogh time for the warden to eat you

Could make the warden too op. Maybe a long ranged attack at any heigh would be a good alternative. So the player can't attack the warden through a hole in a wall, because the warden could hit back.

It should only break a few kinds of blocks, not wool tho. But I mean like wood or cobblestone the weaker kinds like that

I suggest that the warden be only able to break blocks it hears the vibration from being placed, but still be able to break those quickly (depending on the block hardness). This would work (I think) to prevent players from escaping by blocking the warden with blocks, but prevent the warden from being overly destructive, and obsidian should probably stop it.

Since the warden is blind, I don't see how it would break blocks it doesn't have a big motive to break, it would slowly erode its habitat it it simply broke blocks between it and a vibration it was following.

I'm mainly suggesting this because I don't want to see the warden thwarted by the "encase myself in a dirt wall" tactic.

This is an awesome way to make the Warden much more dangerous. Andrew Ballif, I think that darkstone should have high hardness, similar to that of obsidian, so that the Warden is unable to strip down its dwelling. The Warden should be able to break a 3x3 square of block at a time, the Warden is very powerful and can kill an iron golem in three hits, so I would think that, with so much force, it can destroy a few stone blocks easily. Zombies can break doors slowly, creepers can destroy blocks immediately; the Warden would be a combination of the two when it comes to block destruction.

Here is a list of the blocks it can immediately destroy:

Stone, cobblestone, stone bricks, logs, wooden planks, iron ore, gold ore, diamond ore, emerald ore, coal ore, block of coal, redstone ore, block of redstone, dirt, bricks, wooden doors, wooden trap doors, etcetera.

And a list of blocks it can destroy in 1-2 seconds:

Block of iron, block of diamond, block of gold, block of netherite, anvil, iron trapdoor, iron door, etcetera.

Blocks it can destroy in 3-4 seconds

    Obsidian.

    Blocks it can't/won't destroy:

    End portal frame, darkstone.

When these blocks are destroyed they are not dropped as items. Additionally, I think the player should be launched ten blocks into the air, and fifteen blocks away.

Anything that doesn't seem quite right?

Great suggestions! That's almost exactly what I had in mind.

A few things; I prefer the idea of it instantly breaking some blocks, but because of minecraft's breaking animation, It seems semi-realistic only if the warden breaks blocks instantly, because there would probably be sizable intervals between punches/slams. To that end, I think it should break blocks with a hardness of less than 4 instantly. Since the warden gets stronger the more it's hurt, maybe that amount increases when it's injured? In fact, maybe the Warden's only willing to be destructive when it's damaged.

I'm against it's ability to break obsidian, as even the Ender Dragon can't break it. If the "encase-myself-in-an-obsidian-wall" technique works on the dragon, (ignoring the fact that the dragon has intangibility and can get you regardless), it should work on the Warden.

I don't think the Warden should deal players huge knockback, as that makes it easier to escape it, even if it's devastating combat-wise. The fine details of it's attack strength are something that Mojang can probably balance best.
