To "vaunt" means to brag or boast.
The monster I'm proposing is a fairly rare one found in caves (Around where you'd find gold, redstone, etc.) made of a white-ish stone-like material with colorful, luminous gemstones (amethyst, diamond, etc.) sticking out of various parts of its body (Somewhat similar to a guardian's spikes).
Its body shape is unique, as it would be that of a bunch of stone blocks shaped similarly to a guardian's head, held together in a humanoid shape (noisily and slowly walking around on two legs).
Like the warden, it cannot see. Why would underground monsters need sight? Instead, it will be able to detect (hear) a nearby player that mines a valuable ore or amethyst, much like how piglins can sense the player opening a chest or mining gold (or of course if the player hits it). It treats valuable gems and minerals like piglins do gold.
This golem of stone and gemstone has much to brag about not only for its wealthy material composition, but also for its strength. It would deal about as much damage as an iron golem with each hit and have half the health of one, and it is immune to arrows since it is made of stone. but killing it would be worth it.
It would have a guaranteed drop of several of a random gem/valuable mineral, such as redstone, lapis, amethyst, or diamond (and others if there are ever more). It would also be able to drop a luminous crystal that can be used to make a new item (another idea to be used here).
