Goats can eat everything!

Unless they really want to go for the realism here, one of the features making Goats distinct could be that they can eat every item that is dropped on the ground.

One of the funnies memories of modded minecraft is how a goat eat my diamond pickaxe.

  I like this idea. You could throw your items to the goat. Sort of like a mobile trash can lol.

  Great idea but goats don’t actually eat everything. It’s a common myth. Goats stick to normal food such as leaves, grass, bush, clover and grain. To be honest they're even slightly picky eaters. This should be implemented into Minecraft as that would spread the myth. All those stories about goats eating pants and boots are fake. The closest I’ve seen a goat to eating a non edible thing is when they tried to suck on on of my jacket tags. So, good idea but this might not be the best thing to be added.

  This is a great idea! My thought is that goats should eat the bottom leaves of trees like they do IRL. It would make them useful to keep around your house if it's in a forest. In comics, goats always eat cans from canned food, so I think they should eat leather and iron armor if you drop it.
